Power of Sisterhood: Celebrating Women’s Health & Wellness

A tea party hosted by nonprofit organization Surge for Water

In honor of Menstrual Health Day, nonprofit Surge for Water spends an afternoon celebrating women’s health and wellness, on a personal level as well as locally and globally.

From Surge for Water:

As menstruators, we’re deeply connected in many ways – our cycles being just one of them.

To deepen this connection, join us for a one-of-a-kind tea party to celebrate women’s health & wellness in honor of Menstrual Health Day.

Through gentle movement, interactive activities, and engaging conversations, we’ll cover:

  • Menstruality consciousness and wellness practices to live happier, healthier lives
  • Local and global issues surrounding period poverty & stigma and ways to make a difference!

Surge for Water is honored to bring this program to you in partnership with amazing local organizations: Chicago NOW, Chicago Women’s Health Center, Her Drive Co, Illinois Muslim Civic Coalition, She Votes IL, Soulective Pelvic Health & Wellness, The Period Collective, UIC Blood Buds.

We can’t wait to share a lovely afternoon over tea, coffee, and light refreshments.
