PANEL: Social Media & The Next Generation

(l-r) James Coston, Neal Ryan Shaw, Rebecca Dickson, Danny Bernardo, Mark J. Carter, Staci Diamond, Sue Koch, Tim McDonald

Social Media Week is coming back to Chicago for a second year and we’re very excited to be part of it again on September 25th.  Last year, we hosted a lively and informative panel about how the different generational groups use social media differently. Within that panel, we found the inspiration for our event this year. Gender usage statistics have been a hot topic in social media and it was great to see it come to life in the banter between two friends and panelists Mark J. Carter and Staci Diamond:

At Catalyst Ranch, we like to present events that go beyond statistics and bring topics to life. As a creative meeting space, we think outside of the box with our events. So while we will be presenting the latest findings in gender statistics in social media usage, the crux of the event will be seeing the panelists come to life. These fine folks are very well-versed in social media, both professionally or personally. They know the statistics, but it isn’t their focus. What they excel in is true engagement, in an informative and entertaining voice. Think of this panel as an expanded focus group where you are the client and our panelists are your dream respondent: savvy, outspoken, and informed. With our panelists representing different genders and age demographics, you’ll be able to understand how to target your audience engagement and tailor audience messages. If the response from last year’s event was any indication, our event this year #Guys vs @Gals will be even better!

At the moment, our event is full but we will be adding spots within the next day or two. To be the first to know when that happens, follow us @CatalystRanch and hashtags #SMWGuysvsGals and #SMWChicago.

Hope to see ya there![/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]
